Teen Parenting – Psychoeducation that covers the life stages of child-rearing; Birth to 9 months, Curious one-year-old, Twos and Threes, and the learning years 4-5. Finding your parenting style.
Divorce – This is a psychoeducation group that covers co-parenting, setting and enforcing limits, providing order and consistency.
Single Parent – This is a process orientation group that explores increased parental responsibility, potential romantic relationship concerns and creating support systems.
Children: Ages 6-11
Taming the Hulk – This is a psychoeducation group that targets anger Management, Bullying, and emotional regulation.
Increasing the Emotional Intelligence– This is a psychoeducation group that concentrates on social skills- making friends, healthy emotional coping skills, and handling conflict.
Divorce – This is a psychoeducation group that incorporates coping skills to adjust to the changes in the family.
Adolescent: Ages 12-17
Divorce – This is a psychoeducation group that incorporates coping skills to adjust to the changes in the family.
The Anger in Me – This is a psychoeducation group that identifies anger triggers, learn calming techniques, and constructive emotional regulation.
Embracing the Wave – Psychotherapy which focuses on personal growth through effective communication, handling the hormonal journey, and increasing self-confidence
Women
Loving Me – This is a psychoeducational group that encompasses self-empowerment, self-exploration, and personal development.
The Phoenix in Me – This is a process orientation group that examines the grief of adjusting to relationship anguish, rebuilding character, conquering negative cycles in an encouraging, and empowering environment.
Superwoman Complex – This is a psychoeducational group that encompasses caregiving, stress management, and mindfulness.
* Psychoeducation Groups are informative and active for 6-8 at a time.
** Psychotherapy groups are closed and are quarterly. Process orientation groups are open and continual.
While groups are held on-site if there is a request for a specific group with enough involvement therapist may be able to facilitate in the community.
